Introducing…

Marvelous Newt!!

Newt's poster is just Marvelous and we had so much fun learning  more about him, his family, and his life!  Newt is very adventurous!  He has flown in an open air plane, has gone white water rafting, and was even bucked from a horse! He also zip lines, snow skis, and  fishes!  Newt loves reading and learning about WWII and other historical events!  Newt has even graced the cover of Fort Worth Child Magazine!  What a well-rounded young man you are, Newt!

Newt's parents are very busy!  His mom is part owner of a mailer company, and his dad own's a company that makes spoilers for cars!  Together, however, they work on their ranch, 2D, together!  Mr. Goad told us all about their Abilene Ranch.  They raise and sell cattle!  We got to hear about the cattle's vaccinations, ear tagging, and branding!  We also learned interesting facts like:  how much grass they have determines how many cows they can have on the land and that 80% of U.S. food is produced on small family farms!

Newt works on the farm too…it takes the entire family to make it successful!!

The Goad's brought a fun treat to end our time with them!  We each got a homemade Rice Krispie treat with a sticker with their Ranch's brand on it!

Thank you Goad family for a fun week and for spending a morning with us!  We learned a lot!
