Introducing…

Marvelous Baylie!!

What a fun week we've had with Baylie as our Marvelous Me!  She brought such a cute poster that taught us a little more about her!  Baylie has been in an airplane and flew all the way to Florida!  Baylie likes the beach, the zoo, fun rides at Six Flags, and swimming…especially at Great Wolf Lodge!  Baylie also likes cheerleading, gymnastics, her cute dog, Jellybean, and the Texas Rangers!!  Baylie loves spending time with her mom & dad and her cousins!

Baylie's mom came and visited our classroom on Tuesday morning and told us about her job as a business owner.  Mrs. Houchin has a company that hirers employees who can fix airplanes!  So cool!  

As a fun activity, each child made a paper airplane.  Mrs. Houchin helped some, but for the most part, the kids did a great job making their own planes!!  We were quite impressed with all the different designs!

After all the planes were "assembled", we lined up and had a flying contest! 

We measured to see whose plane went the furthest!!

And the winner was…

…David with his sleek design!!

Baylie and her parents made these fun airplane treats for us, too!  So clever!!
