How MARVELOUS this week is with...
MARVELOUS ANNELISE!

We loved getting to know more about Annelise with her bright pink poster full of pictures!  We learned that Annelise is loved by her mom, dad, and BIG brother, Bradley!  She is so blessed to have grandparents and GREAT grandparents that love her, too!  Annalise has a sweet puppy named Chico (aka Chico Rico)!  Annalise has lots of friends! She enjoyed museum school and pre-school and likes going to Casa MaƱana! Annalise loves to eat cheese pizza and playing tic-tac-toe!  Annalise's FAVORITE thing, however, is dancing!  She takes ballet, tap, and jazz dance classes!

Annelise's mom has 2 jobs, but
she talked to us about her favorite of the 2...
being a DANCE INSTRUCTOR!

She teaches ballet at Francis Lea!
She is a ballerina herself and showed us her toe shoes!

She taught us that her toe shoes are made of wood!

Annalise showed us some ballet moves of her own!

And then she showed us show she can do "point" in her regular shoes...not even in toe shoes!  Wow!!

Then she showed us how she can stand in her mom's point shoes!  You're a natural, Annalise!!

After our dancing, Annelise's dad told us about his job!
He has a sales consulting firm AND a
business talk show (via podcast) called...
bossacademy.com
for entrepreneurs!

We enjoyed our morning with the Kirch family!
Thank you for your time with us!

Thank you to the generosity of all of our families!

We are thankful for the safety The Blue provides for us!

It has been a MARVELOUS week
with Marvelous Noah!

Noah brought in this great poster to help us get to know him a little bit better!  We learned that Noah lives with his mom, dad, brother, Gabe, sister, Sophie, dogs, Cato & Bailey, and fish, Jack!  What a full house they have!  Noah LOVES to play with his big brother whenever he can!  Noah's favorite vacation was to Great Wolf Lodge, and he really enjoys spending time at the deer lease!  Some of Noah's favorite things are sweet treats, music, and playing games.  Noah is athletic, too.  He likes soccer, baseball, and SCS football games!

Today, Noah's mom & dad came in and talked to us about their jobs.

Noah's dad, Mr. Gonzalez, told us that he is in commercial real estate.

He also told us about a few of his favorite things to do:

1. He likes to go to the deer lease with his boys.

2. He likes to coach & play soccer with Noah.

3. He likes to box!

Noah in turn showed us his one-two punch!
Noah likes to practice with his dad!

And then, each friend got to get a chance to box!

Introducing...
Marvelous Natalie!!

Natalie taught us a little more about herself with this super cute pink & purple poster!  We learned that Natalie lives with her mom, dad, sister, Emily, and her sweet dog, Winnie (short for Winston!).  She has grandparents & cousins who love her, too!  Natalie likes to swim and golf.  She loves "Shake it Off" by Taylor Swift, Halloween, baby dolls, and her Barbie Dream House!  Natalie's favorite foods are spaghetti, ice cream sundaes (on Sunday, of course!), apples, carrots, and Chick-fil-A!  Thank you Natalie for teaching us more about YOU!!

We were lucky today to have 1st Lieutenant Crick
come speak to us about his job!
We learned that when Mr. Crick walks in a room at work, he gets saluted!  We are very thankful for his service in the army.

1st Lieutenant Crick is in the army reserve and works as a nurse anesthetist ... he assists the doctor in putting patients to sleep (and waking them up) for surgery.

Mr. Crick works both for the army and at Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth.

He brought the following medical instruments to show us:

*a stethoscope

*masks & "balloons" used to put patients to sleep

*a finger tip pulse oximeter that measures heart rate & oxygen levels.

 *surgical gloves and hats

*a stethoscope for each student

The kids had a lot of fun trying to find their heartbeats and the heartbeats of their friends, Mr. Crick, and Mrs. Tenery!
