Super Star Scientist Brock!

Objective:  to show the effect of gravity on two different sized objects with different weights when dropped at the same time.

Materials:  1 pencil (full-length) and 1 pencil (cut in half)

First, Brock showed us 2 pencils.

One is full length and the other is cut in half.

He held them up and the same height…

…then dropped them at the same time.

They both hit the floor at the same time!!

Conclusion:  The 2 pencils fell at the same speed and landed at the exact same time!!  Size and weight didn't make a difference.

Brock, you were a GREAT Super Star Scientist!
