#12 David Vozeh!!!

We learned a lot about David as he showed us his cool poster!  David is surrounded by a family who loves him!  He lives with his mom, dad, and 2 sisters and has grandparents he enjoys spending time with.  David likes to swim, ride his bike, play putt-putt, and he even participated in a Dirty Scurry!  He was covered in mud!!  We learned that David loves to eat Frosted Flakes, pizza, ice cream, and candy…especially Kit Kats and Andes mints!  David also loves sports!  He likes soccer, baseball, tennis, and football.  His favorite teams to cheer for are TCU and the Dallas Cowboys!  David may one day be an astronaut…he loves learning about space!

David's dad came today and told us all about his job.  He works in the oil business!  He taught us that almost everything we use wouldn't be possible without oil…like cars, planes, and even plastic!

He brought a tube full of oil for us to see and pass around.

David modeled the hard hat that must be worn when out on an oil site…that's a rule!!

He showed us a model of an oil derrick and let the kids touch and look at it!

He also brought a drill bit used to dig deep down into the earth to help find oil underground.

Taylor discovered that it's pretty heavy!!
