As we continue our study of 

America,

we learned about the 

Statue of Liberty

yesterday!

We learned she was a gift from France.

We learned that "liberty" means "freedom".

We learned that she welcomes people to America!

We made Statue of Liberty hats for ourselves to wear and celebrate our freedom!
