Marvelous Thomas!

We enjoyed getting to know more about Thomas during his MARVELOUS week as MARVELOUS ME!

Thomas brought a poster filled with pictures of his favorite things!  We saw pictures of him cooking with Mom and Dad, playing with his sister, Emilie, vacations, family, his pets, and his favorite candy/snacks…candy corn and Goldfish!

We learned that he loves Halloween and cheers on the 

Texas A&M Aggies…WHOOP!

Mr. Epps came and told us all about his job at Mira Vista.  He takes care of their beautiful golf course.  He showed us a putter and gave each of us our very own golf ball!

It takes a lot of work and a lot of people to maintain the many acres of a golf course.  He showed us with a ruler how short they keep the grass on the greens.

He gave each child their very own golf course grass to grow and take care of!  

(If you will poke a hole in the bottom of the cup, water the grass, and maybe add some fertilizer, the grass can grow up to a couple inches.  

You can even take it out of the cup and plant it!)

The students took a closer look at the grass with a special magnifying glass.

Tenery the Turtle is very excited to spend the weekend with Thomas in College Station cheering on the Aggies!  This is Tenery's 2nd time with the Epps…he went  with Emilie 2 years ago!
