Marvelous Sam!
Yay for Sam!  He was absolutely MARVELOUS this week, and we really enjoyed learning more about him and his family!

We loved Sam's poster and seeing all the pictures showing his family, favorite things, and what he enjoys doing! We learned that Sam likes Star Wars a lot, loves dressing up, enjoys time with his family, including cousins and grandparents, got to go on a special trip to Disney World, and loves to read!

Sam's mom came to visit our class on Wednesday and told us about her job as a Behavior Analyst at Children's Hospital in Dallas.  She works with kids even smaller than us!

Mrs. Greer read us 2 books that Sam picked out because he likes them so much!  The first one was called
Giraffes Can't Dance.
It taught us that even though we may not be able to do something just like everyone else, that doesn't mean we can't do it…we just need to do it our own way!

The 2nd book was called
 The Day the Crayons Quit!
It was a fun book that reminds us to see the world differently and be creative!

Thank you so much for spending your day with us Mrs. Greer.  We enjoyed our time with you!

Tenery the Turtle is excited to spend the long weekend with Sam and his family…he knows it will be lots of fun!
