Marvelous Caoilinn!

Caoilinn has been such a wonderful MARVELOUS ME this week!  We enjoyed learning more about Caoilinn and spending a fun morning with her mom!

Caoilinn brought a hot pink poster full of fun pictures!  We had fun looking at all of them and learning more about Caoilinn!  We learned that Caoilinn took a fun trip to Disneyland with her mom and had her picture taken with the Frozen and Lilo and Stitch characters!  Caoilinn loves to spend time with friends and her family!  Caoilinn also enjoys horseback riding, going to the zoo, and dying Easter eggs!  Caoilinn LOVES her dog "brother", Fin!

On Thursday, Caoilinn's mom came to the classroom and did a science experiment with the class!  She used to teach physics and biology to high schoolers.

First, she poured vinegar into each student's empty water bottle (1/2 full).

Next, we added added baking soda to a each student's balloon (1/2 full).

Caoilinn is proudly showing her filled balloon!

Next, she showed us how to place the balloon on the water bottle and dump the baking soda into the vinegar…

… and look what happened!

All of our balloons inflated by the reaction!

Those are some happy faces!!
