In class this week, each child took a turn on the SMART board spelling our sight words using "fridge magnets".  This is Paul choosing the letters and sliding them up to spell each word. When he was done, he read them to a partner!

Also this week we started learning about the states of matter…SOLID, LIQUID, & GAS!

As a Kindergarten group, we conducted an experiment demonstrating the 3 states.

First, we put ice (solid) in a hot skillet…

…then we observed as the ice (solid) melted into water (liquid), and then began steaming and bubbling (gas)!  

All the students were able to watch the transition between the states by watching the projection on the SMART board!
