Our Freshman Bible Buddies came to visit today from the Prep Campus!

They told us the story of Moses and the
parting of the Red Sea.
We sang a song together and had
red velvet cookies as a snack!

We also went outside and played a fun game called
sharks and minnows!
Then we played with the big kids on our play ground!

We took group pictures together, too…
one had to be silly, of course!

Introducing…Marvelous Barrett!!

Barrett's poster was full of the exciting things he does with his family!  We learned that Barrett likes to travel!
He's been to Sea World, NASA, and the beach in Mexico!
Barrett likes hockey, soccer, and spending time with his family!

To start his week as Marvelous Me, Barrett brought donuts to share with the class!

Today Barrett's mom and dad came to visit with us and tell us about what they do while Barrett is at school.

Mrs. Portwood works in an oral surgery office.  She brought x-rays of Mr. Portwood's teeth to show us!
Macey and Hannah took a closer look…while applying the chapstick Mrs. Portwood brought for them, of course!

Mr. Portwood works for Alcon in the legal department.
At Alcon they make contacts and contact solution.  Lots of the students' parents must wear contacts because they knew all about that! He brought diagrams of the eye and a sight chart.

The Portwoods brought lots of goodies for the kids.  You'll find a JPS cup, fan, chapstick, bendy toy, badge clip, and a toy in your child's backpack…it was quite a treat!

We'd like to send a BIG THANK YOU to the Portwood family for such a fun morning!  Thank you for spending time with us today.  Have a fun, safe trip to Mexico with Tenery the Turtle over the Thanksgiving holiday!

Introducing…
Marvelous Christian!!

Christian's poster was so fun!
He had pictures for each year of his life!
Christian and his family love sports and dressing up for Halloween together! Christian is also an author…he writes books under the pseudonym, King Rock!  Watch for his books on Barnes & Noble's shelves in the future!

Christian's mom loves to bake and decorate cakes
in her free time!
She brought cupcakes, 4 different colored frostings, and lots sprinkles and let each child frost and decorate there very own cupcakes to eat!

Take a look at all of our masterpieces

Christian's dad wasn't able to join us, but Mrs. Ratliff brought a picture of a plane he used to fly!
Very COOL!  It's an F-15!

Thank you to the Ratliffs for a fun afternoon!
We appreciate the time you spent with us!
