What a blessing this class has been to me!

Although I don't want to let them go,

I am confident they are ready for 1st grade!

Thank you for sharing your children with me. It has been my pleasure and honor to be their teacher!

I hope you will stay in touch and keep me updated on all they do and accomplish!

 Our last Super Star Scientist, 

Karis Jones!

Karis was "safety first" with her goggles and lab coat!

Karis and her assistant, Mr. Jones, made sure they had all their materials:  an egg, lemons, water in a glass, and salt

They taught us that an egg is more dense than water, therefore, it sinks.

But, by adding lemon juice and salt, they made the water more dense than the egg, and the egg floated!

Silly Mr. Jones gave into Kindergarten pressure and tasted the lemon and salt!  It didn't appear to taste too good!

Thank you for the fun experiment, Karis!

 August birthdays today in class!

The Greers, McBrooms and Smiths treated the class to pizza, drinks and cookie cake!!

Chandler got quite a surprise this weekend...

Her first tooth DID come out!!

We had a GREAT time in BIG Chapel today!

A couple special things happened during chapel this morning that included a two of our friends!!

Mrs. McCarthy played the guitar for 

the praise song to open chapel.

Chandler won the Pet Photo Contest 

for "Cutest Other Animals"!!

The competition was tough with lots of great entries!!  Congratualations to Chandler

AND Fuzzy and Wuzzy!!!

Mr. Adams' 6th Grade class

presented the message

"He continues to work"

...a message that complimented ours

"God's still working on me".
